J. Press showed its in-season Fall/Winter collection during New York Fashion Week with a runway show and presentation at the historic Explorers Club on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
Creative Director Jack Carlson writes, “J. Press has quietly shaped American menswear for over a century. One of my goals in bringing J. Press to the runway and to New York Fashion Week is to reaffirm its role as the standard-bearer for classic American menswear and Ivy style. In many ways, J. Press is the last brand of its kind still standing – and still making such a large proportion of its core styles in the United States, Britain, and Canada. Ivy style has influenced generations of designers and impacted the way Americans from all walks of life — and indeed, people around the world — dress and think about clothing. But while many have been inspired by the aesthetic, J. Press is the original.”
