Founded in 1890, Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut, is among America’s most distinguished boarding schools, formed through the 1971 merger of The Choate School and Rosemary Hall. Notable alumni include: President John F. Kennedy, President John F. Kennedy Jr., author William F. Buckley Jr., actor Michael Douglas, and more. Hill House Circle, a name rooted in one of Choate’s most historic campus buildings. Completed in 1911 and designed by architect Francis Waterman, Hill House was among the first major Georgian Revival buildings constructed during the school’s expansion and became a defining symbol of campus life for generations of students.
