The Yale Bulldogs Baseball team were winners of the Eastern Intercollegiate Baseball League Championship (EIBL) in 1948, the baseball-only Ivy League conference of the era. (This league also included the collegiate athletics stalwarts Army and Navy.)
The squad advanced to the College World Series that year, led by captain and third-baseman (and J. Press customer), George H. W. Bush.
This cap pays homage to that championship team from 1948, made with genuine wool baseball cloth and finished with authentic felt lettering.
